The Second Day
In the spirit of a traditional Shetland wedding, everyone is warmly invited to a second day celebration at Alan’s (Heather’s Dad’s) house on Sunday 29th.
We’re hoping for a sunny day, but to be on the safe side Alan has organised a marquee so there is plenty of space, plenty of food and plenty of drinks for everyone.
We would love to spend time relaxing with as many of you as possible, so feel free to arrive any time from 3pm onwards. BBQ food will be served throughout the evening.
Even if you’re not able to join us on the wedding day itself, please still come along and celebrate with us on the second day.

Bus:
One of the easiest ways to get to Lesmahagow is to get the X74 from Buchanan Bus Station (you can also get on this bus from Hamilton Bus Station). There are a few bus stops in Lesmahagow, but the closest one to the house is at the high school. You can walk to the house, but we would recommend getting a local taxi. It could be a 30 - 40 minute uphill walk otherwise.
Train:
The nearest train station is Larkhall where you would get the 253 bus to Lesmahagow. You can get off opposite Pepe’s chippy, which is at the bottom of New Trows Road. You can walk to the house, but it is all uphill. A few local taxis can give you a lift to the house or get a taxi from the train station.

You are welcome to bring your car but there is limited street parking on New Trows Road and you’ll miss out on party drinks(!).
